Aaron was born on Friday, 14 November 1952, the eldest son of Vic and Iris Jarrett.

He tragically drowned with his younger sister, Heather, on Saturday, 16 January 1960 while bathing in the Clarence river at a family picnic. He was seven years old.

Aaron is fondly remembered by his loving parents, and his surviving siblings, who have passed on their memory of him so that those who never knew him have grown to love him too.

Aaron was buried in the South Grafton Cemetery, location unknown. A plaque has been placed in the children’s memorial section of the Clarence Lawn Cemetery, Armidale Road, Braunstone, New South Wales, Australia
