Wesley was born on 21 January 1873, the second son and third child of George and Martha Jane Hewett nee Wilson. George married Ada Pettet in 1903. They had five children, George S. (1904-), Eileen M. (1905-), Harry W. (1907-), Alfred G. (1909-) and Gweneth M. (1912-). Wesley died on Wednesday, 3 July 1957.
